30 week appt.

Well, I knew this appt would be interesting. As of the last appt I was told I had gestational diabetes and needed to check my glucose 4X a day. I was also put on the most rigid diet ever. As it turns out I lost 2 lbs much to the dr's chagrin. Go figure!

My dr. took me off the diet as she said the gestational diabetes was only borderline but that she will check it again in 2 weeks. I still have to take it easy but that rigid diet is a thing of the past and no more checking levels. WOOWOO.

As for the baby, she speculated that Ava is about 4 lbs and will watch her weight very closely and will likely induce (if I don't go into labor myself) about 10 days to 2 weeks prior. We're still looking at the end of January or the 1st week in Feb if all goes well...about 7 weeks left.

Getting nervous!!
